From OERC Blog: RCTs, Evaluation, and Objectivity

Here’s a recent post to the OERC blog in which Cindy Olney reviewed a recent article in the American Journal of Evaluation. One of her concluding comments is especially relevant:

“….evaluators need to be aware that they are not completely objective and methods cannot protect them from their own subjectivity. We need to be transparent about our data collection and analysis process and be open to feedback from peers and stakeholders.”
